Philanthropic support is critical to our mission of bringing the very best medical care to everyone who enters our doors. These are your neighbors, your friends and someday, it may be a family member too.
Two-thirds of all area cardiac patients and three-quarters of all area stroke patients rely on us to put them on the road to recovery. Fortunately, our cardiac emergency response time beats the national average. People recovering from stroke and spinal cord injuries depend on our Acute Rehabilitation Center, the first and most renowned on the Central Coast.
Our Katz Cancer Resource Center, located in the Mary and Richard Solari Cancer Center, is the only one of its kind in the area, offering patients and families support, education and championing the battle against cancer. Babies born prematurely or with complications are well taken care of in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Dominican patients benefit from the expertise of top-flight neurosurgeons. And weekend warriors, athletes and other community members regain mobility and their personal bests with our outstanding, comprehensive orthopedic program.
Since 1941, we have been here to serve our neighbors. In fact, Dominican Hospital provided over 42,000 people last year with support who could not otherwise afford aspects of their medical care. We’re proud of our collaborative work with community partners to develop innovative ways to serve the healthcare needs of Santa Cruz County.
Together, we can ensure that expert care is close, convenient and available when it’s needed most. To find a project that is most meaningful to you please take a look at our Key Initiatives and Ways to Give.
