Supporting Cardiac Care in our Community
Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States. Each day, 5 to 6 patients are treated for cardiovascular issues at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz County. An increasing number of patients require cardiac care and interventions on a daily basis.
Thanks to significant advancements in techniques, technology, and equipment in the new Comprehensive Cardiac Operating Suite, and upgrade cath-labs, we can maintain a high standard of cardiac care for our community. With the generous support of our philanthropic community, we are able to fund the cardiac care program, allowing us to innovate, expand, and enhance the services provided.
