Our Mission

To respond and support the changing health care needs of the people within the area served by Dominican Hospital.

Our Vision

A vibrant health care system known for service, chosen for clinical excellence, standing in partnership with patients, employees and physicians to improve the health of all communities served.

The mission and vision of the Dominican Hospital Foundation is to assure that philanthropic resources are available to respond and support the changing health care needs of the people within the area served by Dominican Hospital.

The Foundation's volunteer leadership and staff are responsible for raising, managing and allocating funds to enhance the quality of care at Dominican Hospital, working together to fulfill the mission on the Adrian Dominican Sisters' health care ministry.

For over 70 years the doctors, nurses, and therapists at Dominican Hospital have been inspiring our neighbors in the community to live healthier, happier lives.

The cornerstone for the Dominican Hospital Foundation was laid in 1966 when $1 million was raised to help build the first phase of the current Dominican Hospital.

Today, the Foundation’s Board of Directors is made up of over 44 community leaders—your neighbors—who donate their time, expertise and financial resources to help make Dominican Hospital extraordinary. Their support, along with our many donors, helps the hospital to provide the latest surgical equipment, critical program support and education for patients, a healing environment, patient support funds and more.

Philanthropic support is critical to our mission of bringing the very best medical care to our community. Together, we can ensure that expert care is close, convenient and available when it’s needed most.
